BEINGNESS A SPIRITUAL ODYSSEY

 1,500

Life is defined by its mortality. The truth is that we are
merely mortals existing in this corporal body, till we
breathe our very last breath. We are created from nothing,
masked by nothingness and will return to nothingness. The
insignificance of the human existence is exemplified when
the flesh that covers the body starts rotting, and we slowly
disintegrate into dust. It only takes a few fleeting moments
for the physical body to become disfigured once the soul
departs.
The corporeal self, which encases the ephemeral soul, is a
disenchanting garb we don for a limited period of time. We
treat it with much more reverence than the spirit, which
actually requires the tender loving, care and nourishment.
In our quest to beautify our veneer, we forget about the
soul, which is forever yearning for spiritual enrichment.
