Muhammad Saleem Butt, joined government service as Income tax officer in FBR through the CSS examination held in 1977 and retired in the year 2013. From a post of Income tax officer in BS-17, he retired as Chief Commissioner Income tax Karachi BS-21 after serving 35 years in Federal Board of Revenue.

Deeply dedicated to improve governance and morals in the Civil Services, he wrote 12 Books in his career. Nine books are in English, and three in Urdu. These books are being placed on a Digital website with images of the books in PDF form.
